Our Director, Dawn Woodward, attended a socially distanced awards ceremony on Friday 9th October at Yeovil Town Football Club, hopeful that The Emporium would be receiving an award.
It was a very different sort of awards ceremony to the usually glitzy evening affairs, many of the sponsors and winners joining in by Zoom and there were just a scattering of people present... no hand shaking or hugging, obviously!
Never the less we were able to celebrate the achievements of Yeovil’s most successful businesses, there was much to celebrate, especially this year, given the tough circumstances we’re working through. Congratulations to all of the businesses who won an award, a truly outstanding bunch of people, well deserved winners.

Retail Business Of The Year 2020, this is a huge achievement for all of us at The Emporium, we are so proud!
Dawn accepted the award, sponsored by Yeovil Refresh Group, and gave a speech on behalf of everyone at The Emporium.
Testament to a lot of hard work, strong collaboration and toughing it our during difficult retail conditions, this award means the world to us. We’re delighted to have been recognised as the best retail shop in Yeovil and encouraged to now push ahead stronger and more ambitious than ever. We really are at the forefront of independent retail trade in our town and its wonderful that our unconventional and slightly quirky set up at The Emporium is so appreciated.
