This is a real beauty. A vintage Lloyd Loom style linen basket-come-seat which is in wonderful condition but was very tired. It was still in its original green and the seat material was a lovely green and gold fabric which had well and truly faded and worn with age. Well, it is somewhere between 80-90 years old after all.
It's now been repainted in a luscious shade called Salsa red-made at my request by Green farm paints ltd-and I've recovered the seat with a sassy fabric called '30s glamour girls'...as this linen basket was made somewhere between the 1920s and 1930s, it seemed made for it. This will be making its way to The Emporium very shortly.
